Curious about these, I've seen those for sell and wondering if they're worth a 2nd glance.

Ive seen a couple videos where someone was using one of these, but have seen a review and do has anyone had good or bad experience with it?

I'm using a sprocket adapter, I found it easier than always having to check the tension on the rag joint setup. However, mine is different than that one. I don't see a set screw in the middle to help keep it from slipping.

Yeah I have what I would call the standard type adapter hubs also, but Ive seen thos one floating around amd jave been curious about whether its worth a flip or not to even consider.

looks like a lighter duty one for sure, but for a mild setup ot might work just fine.

just curious if anyone on here has used one.

I would maybe drill a hole and tap it so you can make a set screw for it

Yes that would be a good idea, definitely not a good thing for it to possibly move on the wheel.

I haven't bought one of this type, but I might in the future just to see what the quality is like and if it might also be a good option

Well, I got a few of these ones many years ago when there were not that many options, it has the set screw and the thing is solid quality and they even come with shims so you can use it on even smaller hubs, but I think I like the 3 bolt set up much better. At the time I wanted it for a speed hub that had a smaller circumference than coaster brake hubs and seriously, it was hard to find any that size back then. I got the small one, but it was kinda expensive. they still sell them.

Oh heck... I had forgot about that vendor and those hubs, yeah can dang near buy three of the newer more common 3 bolt type for what those cost each..lol

after looking overr their that site, Im wondering how much business theyre actually doing

Looked at their 2 smoker engine kit page and makes me wonder what type of and engine a person would get if they ordered one from them.?????

not at all being hateful toward that seller, but they seem to be a bit pricey on evweything I looked at compared tonmost other vendors.

I don't expect they are doing much business. I got that sprocket adapter in 2010, damn, 11 years ago, they are still the same price. Like I said, just drill a hole and tap it for a set screw and it will never slip.

I was thinking of using a roll pin and drilling a hole in the hub, but i guess a set screw would be easier. Thanks
