ok, this project really makes me wish i could weld.

WorldBike appears to be an awesome project in of itself, but the "long bike" load carrier concept would seem to have obvious potential for our riquimbilistas with welding skills. plans are available for download at the site. very interesting.

I like the idea of changing bikes to personalize them. I think the idea of making cargo bikes is a great one. And i to wish I could weld.

seems like the long bikes would open up new possibilities for engine placement, or in the case of electric bikes, more room for batteries at a lower center of gravity.

man, with your ingenuity and tinkering skills, you'd be a monster if you could weld!

I love welding. I just wish I had a welder. It's my wife's turn to buy something, so maybe come Christmas time I'll get one...

Little welding tip: leather boots. You do NOT want hot slag to land on your shoe and burn through it down to your foot. It takes longer than you would think to pull your shoes off

i have a project perking using the xtracycle free radical and a full suspension MB. will have progress reports as parts arrive.
