chirping?

recently i've noticed the engine making a chirping noise, like a bird or some thing. it's not continuous, just every now and again, seems like it might be the exhaust. is this normal? or something to worry about?

I've heard it before. Unless it becomes excessive or really loud, I wouldn't worry.

thanks, that was what i wanted to hear. these bikes are a lot of fun and cost effective, it just seems like they take a lot of messing around to get em running right.

yep. That's half the fun, or all the frustration, depending on your application.
