I was scrapping a dryer today and it dawned on me... The belt tensioner used in a dryer has the swing arm and spring needed to fab a self adjusting tensioner.

I wouldn't use the wheel that is on it... I would use the wheel that comes with the build kit.. but its all right there.

Save you money.

Had my dryer for 15 years now I hope it don't break down.

If it does, lucky me I get a free tension'er
