Chain Tensioner Destroyed Rear Rim

Take a handlebar grip and cut off the closed end, split it like a hotdog bun and put it on the bar that you mount the tensioner to. Trim it so the cut seam doesn't quite touch and mount the tensioner over it and tighten. Clean all dirt and grime off the bar first. This will hold I don't know what the grips are made of, but they realy stick to the metal bars.

Wow, that is some high style! Does the plate move up and down with slotted brackets for the two fixing bolts?

i bolted mine to the seat post and the lower part of the fram - i had to make my own bracket, but its worth it to fabricate a bracket that uses two bolts or welded on...
