Chain Breaker question

I just got a SBP shift kit... Installation has been much easier than I thought however something confused me mostly b/c my inexperience working on bikes. It said not to use a master link in the jackshaft-to-freewheel chain but rather a chainbreaker. Do chainbreakers also rivet the chain back together? Also on the SBP site, the chain breaker for sale says it won't work with the 410 chain that came with my kit. What do I need to look for in a chain breaker? Can I just figure out the appropriate length of the chain and take it to any bike shop to have it properly put back together?
 
yes can put the pins back in with chain breaker. its easy if you dont push the pin all the way out. push it out just enough to get it apart. your locale bike shop might have a chainbreaker to fit 410. you would have to ask them
