Centrifugal Clutch Blues

My newest build is with a factory installed centrifugal clutch. After some static run in time, I took it out for 2&1/2 miles. Ran & worked Absolutly perfictly! When I got home the clutch was totaly locked engaged. and remains so. I have not started that bike since, but could ride it with the manual clutch if I wanted to. I just emailed the dealer about it but I want to ask 'yall with any expearence.
I know there are threads on the centrifugal but I wanted to start my own new one. Hope thats OK with everybody.

I don't have much experience with cent clutches, but it sounds like something jammed, and the clutch doesn't disengage. I would check out wikipedia on how these work, and if I'm comfortable, take it apart and see what's wrong.

My 80cc also had a factory centrifugal clutch. Only mine soon began slipping terribly. I found the removal of the centrifugal weight ring easy. You might remove yours and inspect it. The outer ring should spin freely while in your hands.
