Carburetor, Boost Bottle, and Manifolds on mountain bike

As pictured, I am trying to fit a new carburetor on my mountain bike but there is no space for it even with the offset manifold i bought for it! I also need it to be hooked up to my boost bottle.

So i was thinking I could get a long metal pipe to connect to the manifold which could bring the carburetor under the seat area where it should have enough space

So i have a couple of questions since I don't know much about these things:

How would i connect the manifold to the tube? Should i just get a welder to do it for me?
Would it hurt performance to add this tube ? Is there a better way?

Thanks for the help. Any advice is appreciated greatly.

If the carb is further away and I have not tried it, I'm thinking it will have a negative affect on combustion.

But I have never tried it! Could be completely wrong. Lots of threads on relocating carbs around.

I'd get a different bike, but you might cut a piece out of frame and have a big, round section welded in to allow room for carb where it belongs

Was thinking about this. Really do agree with ya Crassius.

Ya really can address this a few ways but just so much less hair pulling with it just fitting.

But know you'll get'er done, BB!
