im not sure if I need to upgrade the carb or not im just checking before I buy this air filter because it says its only compatible with stock https://www.eccarburetors.com/79cc-predator-air-filter-kit
Just the stock but I damaged it taking it off so I think I’m going to upgrade to a 19mmwhat carb are you running?
I dropped it and the choke lever fell offwhats damaged? just curious
that just pops back on smh, besides if anything you can just leave it open and to start it just give it some throttle, itll just be slightly more inconvinient but itll work just fine.I dropped it and the choke lever fell off![]()
I think I was on the road to upgrading the carb anyway so I’m not rly upset abt it lolthat just pops back on smh, besides if anything you can just leave it open and to start it just give it some throttle, itll just be slightly more inconvinient but itll work just fine.
CarbFAAACK NOO
for 126 dollars??? man it better make it fly like a tesla roadster for that price,
read my next comment before continuing.

in that case ya, the one on amazon is good enough, im telling u manI think I was on the road to upgrading the carb anyway so I’m not rly upset abt it lol
If it’s smaller, does that mean less power? Or will it still be better than the stockin that case ya, the one on amazon is good enough, im telling u man
either way 19mm is slightly too big tbh, if ur just beginning and dont know much about tuning it would be better to play it safe nd go 17max, 16 preferable, 18 can be done with sweat nd tears but 19? nah
this one is a clone of the one you wanted but in 17mm, https://www.amazon.com/Racing-Carburetor-intake-Dellorto-BWS100/dp/B0CYT7CD7Y/ref=sr_1_7?crid=3QP8871TRE6T0&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.C54sXb2L8rwouE4CWBsjjqwqJllptKfRscXhr-X6UFaRk1IkB_Ka4qntdkeKp8yHEp6rvOu1dr6piNVXn8dGH-kqZ_IcNj49ipzDUJ39gnNOhSn_5rj5qIixOLSis6DO2Nd3tmPtPBPFOIzBb2ZFjZ0SFaBWV38nOtLT36b-WfQMT78L6ddj7qwfySSZ0b4xliK7Ik2_c-E0S6p0dhvZr6V3Yxfoui2kSvtNnRxPx4TlXugKN8Y5WquTlGgs1x9rdAXuAFsBfjZjyzWZP0-WiChXHBxeeCX51-q4v6bu5Rk.b4QA-SD0gdQLG3dlmCB7zj0OntI1ZS0RUNkFWzPITso&dib_tag=se&keywords=17mm+carb&qid=1793898545&sprefix=17mm+carb,aps,152&sr=8-7&th=1
The stock is also 18mm btwin that case ya, the one on amazon is good enough, im telling u man

stock is 15, the opening might be 18 but the venturi is 15The stock is also 18mm btw
more than stock will be more power but there's a limit because once u reach a certain size it stops improving and becomes worse, a stock one is easy to tune and good for low end power, a much bigger one like a 19mm is too big so theree wont be enough vacuum in the carb to suck fuel out of it so itll run lean except at high rpms (which it wont get to because it wont hav power to do so) itll also be a PAIN in the rear to tune, so you wnat smthn in betweenIf it’s smaller, does that mean less power? Or will it still be better than the stock
so 17 or 16mm? why not 18 like the stock thomore than stock will be more power but there's a limit because once u reach a certain size it stops improving and becomes worse, a stock one is easy to tune and good for low end power, a much bigger one like a 19mm is too big so theree wont be enough vacuum in the carb to suck fuel out of it so itll run lean except at high rpms (which it wont get to because it wont hav power to do so) itll also be a PAIN in the rear to tune, so you wnat smthn in between
