built some bars

Ive never welded before but i think these came out pretty well. I used 15/16" conduit. Ill add filler tmrw and maybe even get them in the booth.

Nice job but please be careful with those bars. If your welding skills aren't up to the task then depending on them for something as critical as your steering gear could come back to bite you. It appears you did some grinding on the welds. That is concerning too.

I'd do some stress testing on them before installing them on a bike. Please be careful.

Thanks Tom. Im that type of guy tho. No im kidding. They were tested, thrown around the shop, put in a vice and pulled, etc. Ive been riding them for 2 days now. The grinding was just to smooth it out a bit.
 
Good to know. Thanks for the reply and the assurance. Some might call me over cautious but that's just me. :)
