BTR Engine thoughts

What would you guys think of this engine for a BTR build?

Just starting the search and looking for opinions... minus the tank and air filter she looks real good with the upright cylinder, and she is not wide at all

That looks like a nice motor to me but just out of curiosity why not go for a clone for $100.00 less?

Not ruling out aany engine right now, the HF's are on my list as well, but I love the look of the straight up cylinder in that engine giving it that old antique look.

The HF's all have the slanted cylinder in them, but the price is more then right with that 20% off coupon.

I plan to mount my H.F. predator straight up like what Cobrafreak, Sportscarpat, and others have done, I like how the clones mount turns 45 degrees up and leaves the (new) bottom of the engine rounded to match the bottom tube loop in the frame.

JT... I see your point with the nice rounded end following the loop of the frame, and I like the way the lines flow with that

I kind of like the look of the flat mounting surface being at the bottom as it makes the engine stand out even more as it becomes a focal point

We could only try and duplicate the beauty of one of those real beauties
