BT-100 engine

I just saw a YouTube video of a larger displacement engine call the BT-100, the bore is 50mm and has a 40mm stroke. It should be around 78cc so I guess we almost have a true 80cc class engine. Will be interesting to see one, hopefully someone here will do a test.

advertised 40mm stroke but measures out 38or 38.5mm due to issues.

I've read here and/or heard that the more powerful BT-100 has issues with over heating due to the size of the piston and the cylinder-head design.

use top shelf oil for mixing and 50:1 ratio. if the cylinders are plated then it is worthless to me cause those cylinders just do not last. cast iron is where it is at if you ride these engines daily.

Ditto the BT100 test Greg. Zeda has done quite a lot recently with the CG motor design. I'd be interested in how good the machine work is on the case inducted billet aluminum block/engine they're offering. I've not seen any specs to this point.

Zeda is just one of several dealers for the new made in USA billet cases.

Yep MBR I recall you posted a nice photo of a variety of U.S.A. billet blocks recently...so both 4 & 2 stroke cases/engines are available.

Javy I have no idea of what might constitute objectionable material on any site or information source at this point.

Javy what is the picture you posted of? From everything I can find the 100 won’t be available till after June 1, do you have a inside track to a supplier?
