Brooks B135 Saddle set up question

I broke down & ditched my knock-off Brooks saddle cardboardy thing & ordered a B135. I have a feeling the double loop front spring is going to interfere with my gas tank.

Would you guys suggest using a set back seat post, or could i just flip the post clamp in the seat chassis to push the seat back a few inches. I don't know if having the seat post attach further forward than the center of the seat would support my 200lb a*s when I sit on the rear of the seat.....any suggestions would be great, thanks!

brooks uses a really high quality seat clamp, actually, the best i've ever seen, so moving the seat as far back as possible shouldn't be a problem, unless you like jumping off curbs sitting down...

thanks Bairdco, that is good news. I visited the brooks website just to take a look and ended up making a purchase.

The last curb I took was 15 years ago on my skyway ;)
