Hey, so I managed to snap one of my exhaust studs in half, got it out just fine. Do they sell studs at home depot, or will I have to buy them online? Thanks

Home Depot is not likely to have 6mm studs or threaded rod, but you can buy a long enough 6mm bolt there & cut off the head to make your own stud if you need it in a hurry.
Or go to McMaster-carr's website & get 3 feet of 6mm 8.8 grade threaded rod for less than 3 bucks. They ship quick, and they have almost anything else you could ever imagine for hardware.

Just go to a hardware store or possibly home depot and buy some allen head/socket head M6x1.00 bolts and use them instead of studa and put a dab of blue loctite or simular blue thread locker on them, I 've done this many times, just remember not to overtighten the bolts, the 6mm bolts, studs and nuts cant take a lot of heavy torque so just get them tight but dont get rough with them or they'll break under the engine vibration.

From what I can tell, the aluminum on these engines is pretty soft. You might be able to re-tap and use a slightly larger bolt. You might need to make the holes on the muffler bigger, though.
Ditto on the Allen head cap screws. There is absolutely no reason to use studs and nuts.
The Allen heads will clear the pipe and maybe even that sloppy weld at the pipe/flange connection.
As was already said, don't over tighten. Most of the time failed fasteners and threads are the result of over tightening, not "cheap material".
You will also benefit from lapping the flange gasket surface to get a good gasket seal. Almost without exception you'll find that flange warped from the welding process and that's the reason for exhaust gasket failure and leaks.
