Broke motor mount, now it won't start

66 cc Seeutek motor

A few weeks ago, my front motor mount took a crap when I was letting out the clutch and spun the motor about 30 degrees. Got it home, rebuilt the mount and cranked it up. Ran like crap! Idled fine, but bogged under anything more than half throttle. Tried to crank it up today and get nothin. There is tension on the unit with the clutch out, but no "pop" like it's trying to fire. HELP... the weather has cooled off and I wanna ride :)
 
A violent jerking motion like that may have caused an air leak (possibly by torquing the crankcase halves apart a bit or knocking your intake/carb loose), which would cause a lean condition and bogging. Check all your gaskets for leaks by spraying soapy water on them while the engine is running and look for bubbling to find the location of the leak(s)

can't even get it to start to be able to check... bummer
 
Oh, sorry, I missed that detail. If it's completely dead at this point, you've got a checklist of things to do:

1. Check for spark. Take that spark plug out and hold it against the head, then crank the pedals quickly a few times and see if it fires. If you see a spark or get zapped, you know it's good! If nothing, it's either your wiring, your mag has shorted out, or your CDI has died.
2. Make sure your carb didn't get damaged. You'll probably have to carefully inspect it by eye, or try another one if you have a spare.
3. Make sure the engine itself isn't damaged. Give her a good eyeballing and see if nothing is out of sorts.
Check to make sure all bolts are tightened properly.
4. Check for leaks by propping the rear tire of the bike up and spraying soapy water on the gasket seams while manually cranking the pedals. You might find this less frustrating with a helper.

yup... gonna do all of that... weird though, because it ran (like crap) the other day and now nothin... at least it's nice out and I've got beer!
 
checked for spark by holding plug and resting hand against head... I could feel spark on my finger... guess it's on to the next section of the checklist... spark plug smelled like gas. Flooded maybe?
