Boost Bottle

hey there.....i was wondering what a boost bottle actually does?[/QUOTE

In theory the boost bottle captures the excess spray from the downstroke of the piston that doesn't get burned by the plug.....that mixture has to go somewhere and it is captured within the crankcase....the boost bottle allows that to be re-burned upon the next downstroke.....it works kinda like a turbo.....I've no experience with them and am only stating from other's......

I did alot of experimenting with different sizes of boost bottles. I made them myself so it was very inexpensive. It was still a big waste of time and material. I even measured them right down to the exact C.C.'s still no difference. Having said that, don't waste the time or the money.

I always thought a boost bottle was full of nitrous and when you want to pull the ponies you let her rip into the intake.
