Board Tracks...
...well we are building Board Track rides, and with that thought I stumbled across this pic with my story of how it came about.
My cousin originally from Ebensburg, Pa. was a pilot who worked flying over Pennsylvania taking pics in the 1930s/40s. I have a few of these and here's the one of Tipton, Pa. aka Altoona Speedway from the end of 1938 of the speedway. As you can see it was dirt by then, due to the danger of the board tracks, all were dismantled, burned, or converted to dirt.

So with this said I wondered if any of you had info on these great tracks and a great time and our interest in preserving and replicating in our similar fashion our motorized bicycle history.
