Belt drive

This is out of all my fields of working. On the early Whizzer bikes, spelled correctly I hope, the rear wheel was driven by a belt. The belt went on the spokes by a ring type belt driver hoop . Is there any place one can purchase one of these? Thanks and will be watching. gphil

PS bet that was clear as mud........
 
You could make one from an old bicycle rim.

There have been several belt drive conversions done here. Try the search feature, George. Type in 'belt drive' and see what comes up.
