If it's not too rough I'm going to try nickel plating it or at least the spring... Then paint to match whatever I end up doing with it but keeping with the 'jet' 50's feel... I found a decent head badge for $40 the only usa Higgins

Growing up there was a bike hoarder with a 5 acre yard full of just about everything piled up... Old man Harris would guard the bikes like he was still in WW2 or 1 from anyone stealing... Full uniform and medals... m1 and everything... I couldn't afford anything he had back then but I learned from him... In the late '80s he died and someone from NY bought everything from his family... So everything is like a childhood dream coming true via eBay...
