Tonight/ Last night now, me and a friend were hanging out cooking some burgers welding up some bike parts ( me a set of handlebars, he a custom exhaust pipe) and the pipe he made was way to loud and didn't have any real back pressure.
While I was lighting the grill it dawned on me to try using burn tubes in a barbeque for a baffle. (The stainless steel tube the propane travels through to make the flame in the cooking area.)
It's made for prolonged exposure to heat, a lot of them are the right inner diameter to fit over the end of the pipe AND It sounded good and saw a slight increase in performance.
We just drilled all the little holes out to increase the flow and cut the crimped end of ... Ànd it just needs a couple small welds and it's done
I will try and post picture of it... It's hella cool.
