Bafang 500W 36V vs 500W 48V

What practical power difference will one feel between riding a Bafang 500W 36V

48v will provide more acceleration, but require an extra 12v battery. Controller and wiring is different.

48v500w will use less amps than 36v500w. It should be faster

Someone told me that there will not be a significance difference in the performance between 36V and 48V motors:

Maximum input power:

36V 500W, 25A, 25*36 = 900W

48V 500W, 18A, 18*48 = 864W
