Average speed

Does anyone else like to work out there average speed on the same monotonus ride eg. riding to work, etc.

I worked out this morning that my average speed from home to work over a distance of 23km's was 46km/hr :).

Pretty chuffed with that as I wasnt even pushing the little china girl.

I remember my average speed in my car (which did accumulate over a larger time frame though) was 33km/hr and it's no slug.
 
I think that's a bit faster than mine, I have yet to get a speedo though. I also don't know that much about the metric conversion, but I think by mph you're still running faster than me.
 
I do have a speedo and I'd say its fairly accurate at worst maybe 2-3km/hr out but I was just stoked at the average speed of these things mind you in the mornings on the weekends there's not many cars on the road so I don't really have to stop for nothing which makes a big difference I'd say
