are 2 stroke kits still all the same

Hi All, I built a couple motorized bikes a long time ago when slant heads where just coming out. I've been thinking about building another 2 stroke 66/80cc and was wondering what kit offer the best quality? Also are there any must have parts or mods trending? The bikes I see on occasion seem to run much smoother than the older kits. Thank you in advance B
 
Welcome to the forum, most all of the newer kits available today have bearings instead of bushings. A lot of suppliers tried the CNS type carbs in their kits seven to eight years ago that caused a lot of problems, I haven't seen a basic kit with anything other than the standard nt in a while. Some people still find parts and pieces that are wrong or not straight but overall they're probably better.
