anyone using monark forks, could you give me a review about them? was it worth the money?

I've used the Monark forks and they are pretty decent. If you can find a set of Felt Abraham Linkage forks and have Pat at Sportsman re-do them they are a lot heavier.

did the monark fork take bumps okay, like does the spring absorb the shock from the road?

The monarchs were pretty nice for the bumps, especially when I upgraded the springs to the heavier ones.
