I've been looking at the Yamaha PW80 engines. Three speeds, auto clutch and a ring-dinger too!
The engine layout is very long but it seems perfect for a stretch or a chopper.
Anyone seen one built?

Similar build using the Honda horizontal clone engine you really have to stretch a standard frame to accept the 17" engine. The Yamaha looks more compact. http://motorbicycling.com/showpost.php?p=403110&postcount=102
