Where i cut it at the bend there is a extra brace welded inside the bar and have rode a couple decent trips with no problems out of it

If it lasts I'll be surprised, I'm not trying to be a buzz kill but, It's gonna bend (fold) right above the seat post clamp area.
Hit a good bump and slam your 230 Lbs on the seat and that's all she wrote
I hope ya don't wreak you bike and get hurt

I only use it every now and again most of the time i use the stock seat and on long trips but on like shorter trips it has done fine

There is a ton of different style Laid Back Seat Post on E Bay or Amazon. from $20 to $25

The seatposts that are way laid back like the one you made are made out of regular steel but they have a support brace. Since ya like your seat up high this will work for you

The Laid Back Seat Posts that have a 3" lay back and no support brace Ya gotta be careful and read the description because some are made out of regular steel and some are made out of Chromolly.
If ya buy a 3" laid back seat post make sure it's made out of Chromolly
