took off. I never found one but my best find is to try and translate.

I think these are banned in mexico, so there may not be any, but I'll post if I find one.

I didn't know if they were or weren't legal in Mexico and made me wonder. Dave (the mod here) happened to come up first when googeling it and says they are. (Good news)

I wonder if any other countries south of the U.S. don't allow?

Only place I know for sure that out right bans them is New York state. Living in CT, I have ridden in NY a bunch and never had a problem.

I note that post is from 10 years ago, but maybe it is just the border crossing problem, or a customs issue with getting a kit delivered there.
