I put one on a bike when I was a kid. It was pretty cool but I remember it used to slip if I went through water. Cost like $400 back then, quite pricey.
Just thought about it and that was my first motorbike.

It had a black bracket with a triangular lever you would pull to raise the motor off the tire and pull start it.
