Not sure about 10's Well shoot they call them Sapim now? Pretty sure they are the same spokes I am running. Got them from these folks. Have not had a problem one with them. Got'em in 11. http://holmeshobbies.com/Sapim-Stainless-Custom-Spokes.html

Yes, 10G is big for bicycle!

It will be the only brake so I want it to be robust!

But I am using a Worksman rim and unidentified fairly large Suzuki rear drum hub.
