Anyone ever build a monocycle?

I have always wanted to build one, but due to the lack of being able to stop quickly and limited acceleration ( both due to center of gravity ). Then there is a storage problem for a limited use vehicle. All that said I will be following this thread, have fun.

I'm going to assume this is what you're talking about.

There's already several motorized monocycles out there perhaps you can get ideas and inspiration from viewing some of them.

Quite a wacky lookin machine there. I'd be interested in seein it motorized for sure. However, it does seem like the kind of thing that would only accept a small motor, and be used on a track only. I can't imagine how much the cops would harrass someone on that thing.

Some sort of stoppie bars at the front would be to your advantage.
