Anyone been pulled over in Illinois??

Illinois' vague laws make me nervous about purchasing an engine kit for my bicycle. #1 It seems unclear whether one is even legally operable on public roadways because they seem to not be registerable. #2 I used to work for a criminal attorney and you could call Secretary of State ten different times, ask the the same question, and get ten different answers. Most of the people who answer the phone just simply don't know what they are talking about. #3 If it does have to be registered, titled, and insured, it kind of defeats my main goal of saving gas money. (Although I think it'd be real fun, too!)

So, I was wondering if anyone in Illinois has actually had any experience being pulled over and what became of the traffic stop?

the laws in the state of Illinois are very much the same as they are for motorcycles. The is not much difference between the two.
