any solutions to chain derailing?

So my problem is that I cant adjust my motor to where my chain will not fall off after starting my motor. I have a jackshaft kit and the chain that is slipping of is the one from the right side motor to the front freewheel, i have it tensioned nice and almost tight i have it all straight and all and its not working out.... how do i adjust so it wont slip after a little bit of pedaling or rgiht after i start it>? thanks

I have no experience with jackshafts, but I know my frame mount engine to sprocket likes to be loose. If I make it tensioned and almost tight, it will instantly throw the chain.
Maybe loosen the chain?
