hey everyone, its been a while but speaking of rat rods, I finished my bike up when I made it home from college, just in time for the shows this weekend. I still need to stop belt slip even with the superman tensioner:

The bottom tube is from my last bike that was wrecked. I'm at home for college currently.

I am getting metal now to weld up my own frame. Actually had something close to your first bike. Though I am planning on using a car tire for the rear. Really would like to get the frame welded up before anymore snow flies, so I can toss the frame in a bank and let it "patenia" by spring time.

Hey woogie, go for it. For me, the best way I got my natural patina is wipe the whole frame down with water and let go for three days to a week.

Just wish I didn't live here in the snowy north. Only get a few months of riding a year....Though I am thinking about changing that this spring.

I've built a couple of rat rods(when I wasn't in college, boy I miss high school)

Man I miss them, including the first one I ever built(the deathtrap). Oh yea, I'm the tall guy in the red shirt.
