another no start......FIXED!!

I hate to do it guys, but I have to ask.

Motor... flying horse 66/80cc motor

New spark plug
New gas....opti 2 mixture
Walbro carb
Ramped piston head
New rings
Polished cylinder head lip
Compression test showed 85psi


I have been trying for two weeks now to get this thing running. Have tried everything I can think of. Wiring check to make sure solder was on leads good on the magneto, carb is pumping fuel finally, piston rings on correctly, solid spark, moon key still there on magneto.

Now I did use different wires on the magneto as I burnt through one last summer. The wire wire isn't connected so no worries about that.

Really liking for some other ideas to try.

Oh yeah, it throws the timing waaay off.
(the magnet, that is.)

That was it!!!

Guys when I took everything apart the magneto was installed upside down, this making the magnet was wrong. Quick flip and everything was working.

Now tuning, close but not perfect. Though can already feel the bike pulling much harder than before, and it sounds mean!
