No, you need 60mm for it to fit.

Correction--->(Made a mistake, I should have stated that I assume you, like me would be using an RT carb, 60mm, for RT.)
You can always get the black fitting in the plumbing department.

cheers Toadmund, nah i have the old nt style carb with the 45mm end :'( , wow that airfilter looks really good, but its too long as i dont have much room, i found this one, thoughts?

Seems alright, but keep in mind the NT carb is a screw on, not band tightened, you may have to do some modifications to make it fit on the flange.

I assume the filters for bigger engines are better because they have more air flow.
I also have the same problem as you about the space, I would have to add an elbow piece so it won't stick out so much (offset intake).

But anyway, looking for you on ebay, I found some cheaper cone style filters I could want, problem is I am Employment challenged at this time, crappy!

yeah i think they make an adapter - which makes it even longer ahha so it doesnt help my case, great advise about the ellbow bend, i found one on ebay and have orded it and im getting an adaptor with it

should do the trick for only 20 bucks have to wait 2 weeks though

Well, I did state my intake pipe is offset, if I got a longer filter it would stick out the side even further, I'd need it tucked in, an elbow pipe could do that.

Sort of like slicking down hair.

It is for a bigger engine. But, if it fits run it aas it will probably allow more air to pass into the carb.
