Aftermarket throttle levers for HS142F

Hey folks, since the kit throttle on my build crapped out on me the other day, I need a new throttle lever. I'm looking at 2 and I'd love feedback or other suggestions.

There's the Sick Bike Parts twist throttle, does anyone know if the part that holds the cable end it actually metal? This:

I'm also considering another one of these, as I've already got one on a 2 stroke and I like it a lot:

Are there other all metal, heavy made throttles that are built to last? Right now I'm leaning towards the ebay thumb throttle since I have one and like it. I'd prefer to be able to use something I can slide my own grip onto as well, instead of having to use an integral grip.

The throttle from SBP does have a metal tip at the end. I used it before on my 2 stroke and my 4 stroke. I'm not to fond of thumb throttles so I won't put my .02 on that.

those one from jnm are crap, get the sick bike parts one much much better. trust me I have had both.

I use cantilever brake levers (non-v-brake) as throttles for all my builds.
I especially like these shorty bmx u-brake type.

Yes, the nylon sleeved one from Sick Bike Parts is the best throttle.

Of course, I use it because I despise twist throttles. The trigger throttle is very compact and versatile. Bonus: it's cheap!

Sweet, thanks for the feedback guys. I'm going with the SBP this time. Ghost0 said in another thread that the 2 stroke version is the same as the 4 stroke now, if I don't like it as much I can just swap the thumb throttle off of my 2 stroke. I don't have a lot of experience with twist throttles other than the short time I've got on this bike so I kind of want to try it out a bit more to see which I prefer.
