Advice need on frame stretching

That's it really, what needs to be done ensure safety and strength when elongating a frame to fit an engine?

Do you mean an actual cut and splice or replacing a bar with a longer bar?

In the case of the former, one of the best methods is to use an inner support tube and drill small holes in the outer tube where brass can be fed in to surround and support the splice.
