Additions to my motorized bicycle

The first photo shows the orginal mount of the walmart driving lamps ($15.95). One has a 30 watt flood and the other has a 20 watt spot. The black and decker jump starter ($39) goes into the Schwinn panniers ($25), and the power runs forward to the Bell handle bar bag ($20). From there it goes to rocker switches ($4.75), one for each lamp.

Re: Additions to my MB

The driving lamps are mounted the the front rack with galvanized pipe hanger tape and the switches are mounted into the end of the handlebar bag. I put Sunlite panniers ($50 from LBS) on the front rack that was salvaged from a junkyard bike ($0). Except for the Sunlite bags, everything was purchased form Wally world. The last pic is an overall shot.

Re: Additions to my MB

That is a very intresting light set-up, I like it. How long will the power pack power the lights?

Re: Additions to my MB

Most of my riding at night is to and from work... I part-time bartend at a dive about 5 miles from my home. It's a 5 to 10 minute ride, depending on traffic. I charge the pack when i see the light "yellow" and it seems to be every week or so. I will do a draw down on the pack singly and with both lights.
