I'm thinking of the engine drive side instead of the pedals. This has to be quieter and smoother than our chains. And please, don't say anything about the need for a tensioner

didn't Jim (manic) try a belt drive on some bike? i think i remember him saying it slipped or jumped or something at start up and he abandoned the idea.

i've been kicking the idea around in my head for months, but haven't resourced the parts.

Seems they've only the rear cogs & some tools up on their site ATM... jus' happened to notice 'em while I was lookin' fer other widgets *shrug*

looks like 1 speed only, what happens if you need to climb a hill... push...lol

The alignment of the cog wheels would be a challenge, if under load the frame bends or flexes even a little bit the cogged belt would come off in a hurry.
