Mixing your fuel at 16:1?
STOP DOING THAT!
Here's why- 16:1 is what you use in a 3rd world country when you have 60's tech motor oil to mix with your 75 octane petrol.
Break in your engine @ 32:1 if your scared, 40:1 if you just want to ride.
Now, having said that, I will say this-
BE SURE TO ALWAYS MIX YOUR FUEL WITH CARE AND CONSISTENCY!
Think about it...mixing at 40:1 has more than twice the fuel in the fuel air mixture as 16:1.
"extra" oil will fill your top end with carbon real fast, not to mention your exhaust.
"extra' oil is NOT good.
Finally- Be accurate when you mix your fuel. 36-ish to 1 is not 40-ish to 1. Your tuning will be all over the place if your fuel mixture is.
Thanks for listening.
