Hi everyone! Just mounted my first 80cc kit. I'm hooked! Found this forum because the instructions with the kit are comical & not very thorough. I am mounting it on a women's cruiser. I think I need to adjust the motor angle so the chain feeds in at the correct angle. It keeps getting caught on the gear & housing. Everything else works great. Wondering if an additional tension wheel will work to correct angle upon chain entry? The position I would have to mount the bracket in would not put any additional tension on the chain, just guide it. Motor mount on frame is solid & I would rather not move it unless absolutely necessary. Because of the extra bar on the step through/ womens frame, I had to mount the motor slightly higher & it changed the angle that the chain feeds into the motor. Hoping somebody has had success as my beautiful cruiser Rizzo & I are ready to cruise. I will trouble shoot it if nobody has but figured I'd ask first. Thanks

Let’s see a picture.

i’m sorry but I can’t help you. I recently mounted a motor on a ladies bike also, but I cut the top bar out. That allowed the motor to sit lower.

Thanks for your reply. I adjusted the motor mount angle & the chain is able to turn smoothly now.
