7:1 gear ratio cvt

Yes, that looks like the same CVT that has been used by number of folks here and elsewhere, notably Kerf and Neat Times. I'd recommend you do a little search around the DIY forum here and look for Kerf's 'snake eater' thread. I have a new one on the shelf I'm planning on using but first doing the mods recommended.
