I am so new to this motor bicyling that I'm not sure what to call a bicycle with a motor. I have very good mechanical skills because I was a recip engine aircraft mechanic for 12 years. Anyone out there near Montgomery Alabama and willing to admit it?

Welcome to the forum!! There is alot of experience here on the board and many Pilots and A&P mechs, welders, engineers, basket weavers, goose breeders etc... This place is a wealth of knowledge!! Glad to have another mech on board!
