2 stroke won't start after a month

So one day the bike just died on me omw home from work. About three weeks ago. I tried and tried until finally I lost all motivation to fix it.
So I know I have compression, a spark, fuel and air, clutch engages and disengages to what seems to be properly. I switched out the cdi, and the carburetor. I took the cylinder head off to see the piston and I think it looks ok. But let's be honest I have no ******* clue what I'm looking for. It seems like it should run just fine.
I definitely need some help y'all!

This is kinda an old thread but it might give you some ideas. I would say, check for air leaks, clean carb, make sure the float isn't stuck or anything and that it is sucking gas, check air filter, maybe it's not getting the correct air/fuel ratio, you could try it without the air filter on to test. What oil/gas mix are you using? Make sure the exhaust pipe isn't clogged with oil or something.
