11 t freewheel maintenance??

Hello All, I've just installed a HS kit from BGF. It has a 11t freewheel drive sprocket.

Don't these things need to be dismanteled and re-greased soon after being put into service? And re-serviced with some frequency to get reliable service?

I've got a similar but much heavier decice on my tractor pto, and directions for it is to grease it before each use(has zerk fitting)

I've heard of these things failing a lot. Could be from lack of servicing?

Could they be modified to take a zerk fitting?

Anyone have any experience with servicing these things that you would like to share?

If it's a regular bicycle-type freewheel, don't grease it. The pawls will stick. Use a medium-weight oil whenever the thing sounds gritty. More info at Sheldon's site:

It's not a regular freewheel . It is an 11 tooth #415 chain drive sprocket mounted on the engine's gearbox. I know there's grease in there because some of it is working out of it with use.
