10t idler sprocket vs plastic roller bushing

Ive heard the plastic roller bushing that comes with the china kits is real noisy.
would that also be the case if you swap it out for a idler 10t sprocket?

The sprocket should be quieter.

The noise is caused by the lobes of the chain hitting the idler wheel. Each link of the chain thumps on the idler.

A sprocket idler doesn't do that since the contact is more smooth with the rollers on the chain.

Thanks. I installed a sprocket idler and it was so quiet i forgot it was there.
