10-inch wide tire

I have just seen this video on the Xterrain500 and I think immense tire size is meant to give a lot of surface area and therefore a load of float to the bike.

I know fatbikes are capable of going in all sorts of terrains like sand and deep snow, but the Xterrain 500 is the first one to offer such a large front wheel. What do you think?

No front brakes is a major bummer, though. Would have to jimmy something....
