Some of you may know me from my help posts and build pics here like this new build with the elusive 53cc HS 144F-1G tapered shaft engine and new 2015 5:1 gear reduction adjustable sprocket with freewheel big pulley transfer case I helped design.

The HS engines are good, the 144F 53cc is surprisingly stronger than the 49cc.
It is the transfer case parts that cut the price.
Simple really, the cheap ones like the 7G don't put in quality parts like the crucial bearings or even a freewheel.
