Fender fit top--- before this you gotta match up your tab to the slot on fender. and using a sharp punch n hammer punch the coresponding hole through
in vice holes drilled, tapped, tabs welded to spine.
1/8th thick 1/2 wd flat stock 6" in length, drilled tapped @ 1/4x20 holes then shaped (Hammer n Anvil horn) to mate with fender.
Tab- do the drilling/slotting before cutting to length. Far easier to hold on to.
