Schwinn Avenue, about $240 new at Walmart. I replaced the seat with a sport seat, replaced the stock bar (but using it now) with a strong drop bar, and milled out the shifter-brake clamps for the new bar, used rubber bike tubes to make bar tape. It was a great cyclocross bike this way, with a 50mm travel fork, v-brakes, and mud clearance. I could trackstand in mud puddles, and pull away without putting a foot down, just rocking back and forth a little to get going.
